Deputy President Interview

The Deputy President Interview is a very important stage of the ISSB selection process. Through this interview, a candidate's personality, abilities, leadership qualities, and morale are assessed. At this stage, each candidate appears individually before a Deputy President for an interview. The interview is generally conducted in a friendly and comfortable environment.
During the interview, the Deputy President generally tries to assess the candidate's intellectual ability, personal and social background, extracurricular activities, physical and mental preparedness for joining the armed forces, interests, hobbies and achievements, self-confidence, and patriotism. Finally, the Deputy President judges whether the candidate possesses the qualities required to become an officer in the armed forces.
During the interview, the candidate should answer each question fluently. Maintaining self-confidence throughout the interview is very important. The candidate should attend the interview in formal attire, as it enhances self-confidence and creates a positive impression.
At the time of the interview, the candidate must bring the required educational certificates and other supporting documents. The candidate will be informed of the scheduled interview time at least twenty minutes in advance through the digital display screen installed in the Candidate Dormitory and announcements made over the loudspeaker.
